Peroba Rosa, (scientific name: Aspidosperma polyneuron) is a tree native to Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, and Paraguay. It is commonly useful for beekeeping. Heartwood color ranges from yellow to pinkish red, sometimes with darker streaks of purple or brown; color tends to darken with age. Peroba Rosa works easily, glues and finishes well and has a sweet & subtle fragrance.
