Dry and ready to use, these Myrtle sets are a high quality choice for superior tonal quality. These are the same sets that we sell to high end, custom guitar manufacturers to build the best guitars on the market. A slight twist or cup may be present but will sand flat. Color and figure ranges greatly from piece to piece. No two sets are the same and hand selecting is not an option for this product. All sets are high quality with figure and color present. Backs are more figured and colorful than sides. The minimum sizes are: 23" x 9" x 7/32" (Back) and 32" x 5" x 5/32" (Sides).

One of the rarest, most sought after rosewoods in the World, Brazilian Rosewood is renowned for its acoustic properties and elegant, colorfully patterned grain. Brazilian Rosewood works and glues well turning to an ultra-smooth natural polish. This is very old material that is bone dry. Each side has one pin hole present in the black swirl. The back set has a 1/8" twist on each piece that lays flat with 2 oz. of pressure. There are a couple pin holes on the back set that falls outside the template.
This beautiful Ziricote wood has been kiln dried, surfaced on two sides, and is generally sealed on the ends. Some lumber will have occasional very faint hairline checks in black streaks or a minor end check that should be easy to work with or around. These are usually near or on the sapwood; they are very small and minor. This wood is exceptionally high quality A grade material. Please look at the pictures to see coverage of sapwood on faces. This is the same material that we use to cut instrument sets that are sold to larger instrument companies. It is getting much harder to obtain this wood so stock up and take advantage of the wonderful pricing! This mini slab has interesting contrast. It has a little planer skip present. There is a bug hole present 4" from the numbers and a few on the sapwood edge. Suitable for guitars, etc.
One of the rarest, most sought after rosewoods in the World, Brazilian Rosewood is renowned for its acoustic properties and elegant, colorfully patterned grain. Brazilian Rosewood works and glues well turning to an ultra-smooth natural polish. This is very old material that is bone dry. Each side has a 1" to 1-1/4" hairline split present on the end next to the number. CA glue will stabilize it. The back has bug holes present that have been marked with chalk (Please see pictures).
